Newfield Township Taxpayers: Michigan State Law requires the township treasurer to spend one day at the township hall between Christmas Day and New Year’s day. I will be at the township hall from 9 am until 5 pm Monday, December 26th to meet this statutory requirement. Because of this, I will not be in the office on Tuesday, December 27th for my normally scheduled office hours.
My schedule will return to normal on January 3, 2023. Sorry for any inconveniences this may cause.

Notice is hereby given that a Public Accuracy Test for the electronic equipment that will be used in Precinct 1 for the November 8, 2022 General Election is scheduled for Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. located at the Newfield Township Hall. The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate that the computer programming used to tabulate the votes cast at the election meets the requirements of Michigan election law.
Nancy Conley, Newfield Township Clerk, will be available on November 5, 2022 from 8 am to 4 pm for registering voters or to apply for an absentee ballot in person before the election.

The Newfield Township Election Commission will meet on October 18th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. to appoint Election Inspectors for the November 2022 General Election.
Newfield Township has been approved the grant to begin work on the Recycle Center. Contact Nancy Conley if you are interested in volunteering.
Indoor and Outdoor security cameras have been approved to be installed at the Newfield Township Hall with audio recording.
