We encourage all of our residents to take the opportunity to safely and properly dispose of your hazardous waste.
The July 18, 2023 Newfield Township Board Meeting will be held in person at the Newfield Township Hall at 7:00 P.M. This meeting can also be streamed on youtube.com by using this link.

The Newfield Township Offices will be closed on Monday July 3 and Tuesday July 4th, 2023 in observance of Independence Day.
Township Officials will not be in the office, however, the Drop Box will be available for Tax Payments or other filings. Please do not leave cash in the drop box.

A Public Hearing will be held by the Newfield Township Planning Commission on Thursday, June 8th, 2023 at 6:30 PM at the Newfield Township Hall located at 3890 S 198th Ave Hesperia, Mi. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive comments on the requested Site Plan Change submitted by RQMIOG1 for property at 2514 S 186th Ave Hesperia, Mi. The Site Plan Change will be for the purposes of a licensed Marihuana Grow and Processing Facility already in operation. This will be the only opportunity for public comment.
Written responses must be received by Monday June 5th, 2023 at 5:00PM at the Township Hall. Mailed responses should be sent to Newfield Township P.O. Box 564 Hesperia, Mi. 49421. All responses should be addressed to Michael Jansma, Chair, Newfield Township Planning Commission. Written responses will be read into the record. Questions should be addressed to Steven Micklin, Zoning Administrator, Newfield Township.

The Newfield Township Planning Commission will hold a special workshop meeting on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 7:00pm at the Newfield Township Hall. The Commission will be meeting with the Master Plan drafters to begin the process of re-writing the Township’s Master Plan.
No action is anticipated at this meeting. This meeting is an informational workshop. As always, members of the Public are allowed and encouraged to attend.
