The Newfield Township Planning Commission will be holding a Public Hearing Thursday, September 7, 2023 beginning at 6:30 PM at the Newfield Township Hall, 3890 S. 198th Ave Hesperia, Mi. to take public comments on a Special Use Permit Application requested by HiCloud LLC for property at 7655 E M-20 Hesperia, Mi.
The Special Use Permit is to allow commercial activity in a R-1 Zoning District. This property was previously under a Special Use Permit held by JRB CUZ Enterprises LLC.
This will be the only opportunity for public input on this application. Written responses will be read, however they must be received at the Newfield Township Hall, 3890 S 198th Ave Hesperia, Mi. (mailing address PO Box 564 Hesperia, Mi. 49421) by Tuesday September 5, 2023 at 5PM to be considered.
In addition, the regular meeting scheduled for September 14 will be CANCELLED. That meeting will be rescheduled for October 12, 2023 at 7:00pm to receive and review survey data and other metrics obtained by McKenna for the Master Plan. The Website has been updated to reflect this. Proper notice has also been posted at the Hall.
Public Open Houses for the Master Plan will be held on the following dates and times:
Thursday September 21, 2023 from 6:00pm-9:00pm
Saturday September 30, 2023 from 1:00pm-4:00pm
Please note that the Open Houses are NOT public meetings for the purposes of the Open Meetings Act. No minutes will be taken.
