The April Newfield Township Board Meeting was held in person on April 18, 2023. Unfortunately, technical difficulties prevented the Owl camera from recording audio for the meeting. We have obtained the surveillance camera footage from the meeting room and uploaded it here so the public can see and hear what occurred.

A Public Hearing will be held by the Newfield Township Planning Commission as part of their regular meeting scheduled for Thursday April 13^th at 6:30 PM at the Newfield Township Hall located at 3890 S. 198^th Ave Hesperia, Mi. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive comments on the requested Special Use Permit from HiCLoud LLC for property at 7655 E. M-20 Hesperia, Mi. The Special Use Permit will be for the purpose of a licensed Marihuana Grow and Processing Facility already in operation. This will be the only opportunity for public comment.

Written responses must be received by Monday April 10^th at 5:00PM at the Township Hall. Mailed responses should be sent to Newfield Township P.O. Box 564 Hesperia, Mi. 49421. All responses should be addressed to Michael Jansma, Chair, Newfield Township Planning Commission. Written responses will be read into the record. Questions should be addressed to Steven Micklin, Zoning Administrator, Newfield Township.
