Fireworks Permits

A person or corporation must meet the following requirements prior to the issuance of a permit by the Newfield Township Board:

1. Submission of a completed Application for Fireworks Display Permit (FM-49 and 51) to the Newfield Township Clerk.

2. Submission of proof of training and qualifications to conduct a pyrotechnic display.

3. Submission of a valid certificate for personal injury and property damage liability insurance with a minimum amount of $1,000,000 during each event. The Township of Newfield shall be named as an additional insured on the insurance policy.

Once the applicant has met all of the above stated requirements, The Newfield Township Board will either approve or deny the permit application.

Applications must be received by the township clerk at least five business days prior to a regularly scheduled meeting of the Township Board.
